Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Paul D. Fromson graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1969 with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. He attended law school at California Western University where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1974. He began his legal career as Deputy District Attorney with the Merced County District Attorney’s Office, leaving public service in 1979. Mr. Fromson has been in private practice in Merced, California since 1980, specializing in the areas of criminal and family law matters
While in law school, Mr. Fromson received the Best Oralist Moot Court award in 1972. He served as an Instructor in Law of Evidence at Merced College from 1976-1981 and has been an Adjunct Professor in the Paralegal Program – Criminal Law at Humphrey’s College of Law. Mr. Fromson served on the Judicial Council Advisory Council on Court Profiles in 1990. He is listed in Who’s Who in Executives and Businesses and has been named a Preeminent Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbel.
